Use the links below for guides to the different referencing styles used in engineering. Check with your lecturer which style they prefer and then use that style consistently throughout the assignment or research project.
APA
The APA author-date referencing style is the most commonly used across a range of schools.
IEEE
This style is often used by Computer Science and Engineering students.
Chicago
The Chicago B Author-Date Style is commonly used in the sciences & social sciences.
