Nau mai, haere mai!

This guide is intended for anyone wanting a bit of advice on how to choose the right sources for their studies, and be able to identify good quality academic sources from not so good sources.

The page is set up into several different sections -

1. Why is it important to choose the right sources?

2. What are Primary and Secondary resources?

3. What are Peer Reviewed sources?

4. Rauru Whakarare evaluation framework

5. How do you distinguish between good and bad sources?

(This section consists of a small introduction, followed by two interactive videos on how to use the SIFT test and CRAAP test).

Please get in touch with the library by emailing us at library@waikato.ac.nz if you need further help with choosing sources.
