How to check your own references (APA): Reports & Documents

The library team get many requests to check reference lists.  As much as we love to help, we can't be doing extensive reference checks for everyone, and it does need to be your own work. So, we've created this guide to help you check your references.

Reports or Online Documents (i.e. Grey Literature)

One thing that can be confusing is that many of the documents we find online are labelled as "reports" or "codes" and should be referenced as such. However, unless a report has a report number or additional information that needs to be added in, in most cases you will be referencing these in the same way you would a regular webpage.
