Library Search Guide

This guide is intended for anyone unsure of how to use Library Search, which is the Library's main search engine and searches through almost all of the Library resources, both print and electronic.

For further help on searching with keywords and other research tips and tricks, consult our Research Skills Guide.

The guide contains a 17 minute interactive video on the basics of using Library Search, and is split up into four elements - 

1. Where to find Library Search and how to conduct a simple search.
2. How to access search results and use filters to narrow down your search results.
3. How to sign in, and what you can do when signed in.
4. Using Advanced Search.
