Infoshare provides access to a wide range of time series data. This web-based tool can be used to access, view and download the most up-to-date information from the largest database of New Zealand official statistics, and select data specific to your interests.
Following the replacement of NZ.Stat with Aotearoa Data Explorer in 2024, Stats NZ has been planning the replacement of its other aging data tool, Infoshare.
Stats NZ has been improving the reliability of Infoshare so it continues to deliver in the meantime. This remedial work has granted more time which Stats NZ wants to use to engage with customers on what matters to them as they replace Infoshare. The Infoshare replacement is a more complex piece of work than the NZ.Stat replacement.
Stats NZ expects to have more information about when Infoshare will be retired as the project to replace it progresses.
